Making a booking
Bookings can be made online on the website and within a few minutes you will receive a confirmation email from our card payment provider - Romancart. Course notes will be emailed out shortly after.
If your organisation would like to pay by BACS please complete the booking form below and an invoice will be emailed by return with BACS payment details.
Bookings are confirmed either:
- on receipt of a 30% deposit if the booking is made more than 42 days (six weeks) in advance of the course start date
OR
- on receipt of the full course fee if the booking is made less than 42 days (six weeks) in advance of the course start date
Terms and Conditions
FEES
Course places can be booked by payment of either a non-refundable deposit or full course fee.
The balance is due 42 days (six weeks) prior to the start date of the course. If the balance is not paid on time we will treat this as a cancellation
The whole course fee is payable if a booking takes place within 42 days (six weeks) of the start date of the course.
CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
Cancellations should be in writing and will be acknowledged.
If the cancellation is received 42 days (six weeks) or more prior to the start of the course the customer forfeits the deposit.
If the cancellation is received in the period between 42 days (six weeks) and 14 days (two weeks) prior to the start of the course the customer shall forfeit 50% of the total course fee.
If the cancellation is received in the period between 14 days (two weeks) and the start of the course the customer will forfeit 100% of the total course fee.
CANCELLATION BY ADVENTURE UNLIMITED
Mountain Training courses require minimum numbers to run. In the event of a course not reaching minimum numbers customers will be given the following options:
- full refund of the deposit and balance.
- move booking to a later course.
Adventure Unlimited will endeavour to notify customers of course cancellation due to minimum numbers not reached at least five days prior to the start of the course. However, in the event that other customers cancel at very short notice it is at the discretion of Mountain Training whether the course can proceed with less than the minimum required numbers.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
Walking, climbing and mountaineering are activities with a risk of personal injury or death. By booking a course involving these activities you are accepting an awareness and acceptance of these risks and responsibility for your own actions and involvement. Your safety will be of paramount concern, however we can never completely remove the risks associated with outdoor activities. You confirm that you understand the nature of the activities that you are undertaking and acknowledge those risks that are inherent therein . Please contact us if you have any questions about the nature of the activities involved in the booking you have made prior to attendance and please ensure you ask questions as needed during the course so that you are fully aware at all stages of the course of what is involved and of what is expected of yourself.
