Adventure Unlimited has been delivering high quality mountaineering and rock climbing training to instructors for almost twenty years. Course Directors are Jules Barrett and Phil Baker plus a small group of experienced colleagues.
Jules Barrett is a mountaineering and caving instructor based in the Peak District who has delivered over 160 courses on behalf of Mountain Training over fifteen years. Jules' mountaineering experience ranges from winter north face routes in the European Alps through to long-distance fell running rounds including the Bob Graham, Paddy Buckley and Scotland's Ramsay round.
Jules has worked with various Local Education Authority outdoor education centres for twenty years and currently acts as technical advisor for two centres in the north of England.
Phil Baker is a mountaineering and caving instructor based in the Peak District with a lifetime of climbing and mountaineering experience in the UK and abroad. Professionally Phil spent twenty years managing outdoor education centres and now inspects outdoor education centres on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive through Adventure RMS. In addition to delivering Mountain Training courses Phil also delivers cave leader and instructor courses on behalf of the British Caving Association. Phil currently holds the post of Chairman of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors.
